Dieting VS Women

It has been almost a week now since I started eating right. I am scaling myself each and every morning with the knowledge that some days I might be up some grams due to several reasons.

However, I have not come down a single gram yet.

I’m not sure if it’s because I’m going to get my period in a week, and my body is bloated. But I am going to be patient and wait if it’s going to drop afterwards.

It is also very hard for us women to fight our PMS eating urges so I’m trying to do my best and stay motivated.

Knowing that if I cheated, it’s going to feel good for like what? 10 minutes? Then I’d feel bad afterwards, and the consequences of that cheat meal, won’t take another 10 minutes to erase, so I’ll just spare myself that drama. 

Any advice from women trying to lose weight at this period of time? “No pun intended”woman-wondering-whether-to-eat-meat-or-vegetables

Current body situation and goal

Seeing things as they really are is good. I am an unhealthy girl. We always tend to pose in the best way so our bodies will look their best, but that’s not the truth. It’s like saying I look like this when you have tons of makeup on.

I’m not overly overweight, but I am 1.58 cm and 69 kg.

My current goal is to lose 10 kg. I am not aiming to be skinny, I want to be healthy.

One of the reasons I wanted to do this is because I always started and then just stopped. And each time I want to start again, I say to myself “If I haven’t stopped last time, where would I be now?” And I know a lot of you can relate to this scenario 

I just don’t want to say that anymore, and I know I am going to slip some times and feel like I want to give up, but I’m not. This time, I don’t want to say I wish I didn’t stop, because I’m not going to.

I will be posting soon other reasons that got me to start this journey.

Food habits 

I am going to talk about some foody struggles here! I am not and never will be a fan of salads, it’s just painful for my taste buds you know. 

So I am trying to find some alternatives and spicing it up! 

Instead of having the old lettuce/tomato salad, I am going for a full meal kinda salad! The dish today was Beef Thai salad.

I found that mixing meets and spicing the salad up really makes it not just bearable, but super delish!

The first day of this new lifestyle is done and I did not cheat. (Yey me) 

The thing is that I did not just start my diet, but I keep slipping and I don’t want that anymore. 

A lot of people think that a journey to a healthy lifestyle is only inspirational or hard if you’re super overweight. That’s not true. I think sometimes it’s even harder for us because we do not have to simply cut out the portions and that would make a difference because we already don’t eat so much. 

My case is low metabolism, lack of movement and fast food.

Hey everyone! So I am changing the identity of the blog because I’m on a journey to change my life.

I have tried over and over again to get out of my unhealthy lifestyle, but was never able to do so. However, I was never a quitter! 

And for this reason, I thought if I started sharing my journey with people, seeing the progress in front of my eyes so I can stay motivated, read about people who are going through the same journey, about their obstacles and hard days, I won’t feel so alone in this anymore.

I don’t know what to expect from this blog myself yet, but I am hoping it’ll be a new chapter for me.
